My family has been growing fruit in the Mosier Valley since the late 1880’s.

Who We Are

Hi, I’m Phil Evans.

Evans Fruit Company is a true family effort, run by myself, my wife Davina, and our children, Isabella and Calvin. We started this path in the spring of 2000. When my Grandfather wasn’t ready to sell the family farm, we decided to plant our own roots in a nearby orchard instead.

Since then, we’ve spent our years renewing the land, replacing the old with the new, one or two acres at a time. Every tree in our orchard has a story, and we’re proud to share the harvest with you.

We specialize in cherries

We currently have:
10 varieties of sweet cherries,
2 varieties of sour cherries
and 2 kinds of peaches.

Is Evans Fruit Co organic?

Our Growing Practices We do not hold a single organic certification because we tailor our management to each specific block of land. Fruit grown for global distribution must meet strict international regulations, whereas our U-Pick acreage allows for a much more minimal approach to pest management. Our first choice is always to use OMRI-certified products, though weather conditions ultimately guide our decisions. Most importantly, we live in this orchard—we make the safest choices for the land and the families who enjoy its harvest.

We also live in the orchard so we make the safest choices for our families and yours.
